Dag Hammarskjöld,
MarkingsIn the point of rest at the center or our being. we encounter a world where all things are at rest in the same way, Then a tree becomes a mystery, a cloud a revelation, each man a cosmos of whose riches we can only catch glimpses. The life of simplicity is simple, but it opens to us a book in which we never get beyond the first syllable.
oh man, too much fun, if there was such a thing. Very play misty for me.
ReplyDeleteA couple of days or so at dawn a guy walking his dog on this exact spot found a man's body somewhere between the beach and the sand.
ReplyDelete60 year old investment guy. Police say on the basis of injuries, he fell, was pushed, or jumped off the cliffs into the surf.
DeleteI vote for his having jumped. Maybe because I don't want to entertain the possibility of a pusher being loose out there. If he jumped . . . . then maybe we will find ourselves reflecting on stuff we should be reflecting on.
DeleteWe can reflect, but we should not judge. Each man chooses his own path and decides for himself when he has reached his destination
DeleteI have everything nature can provide. I don't have the sea. I miss the sea.
ReplyDelete(PS: I was curious, I saw your comment at Teresa's, that wonderful writer girl)
